Two of my friends and I are developing a series of minigames to give people a better understanding of some of the cooler concepts in physics. We aim to be more fun than educational, but our hope is to give our players the spark of interest and basic knowledge they’d need to learn more on their own.
So far we’ve completed a proof of concept on time dilation around black holes. We are currently finishing our first game on meteor trajectories and starting a second on antimatter. Our hope is to publish our games online and write a blog on our experiences.
This has been a great exploration in indie game development, scoping our ideas, self-regulating, and good playtesting!
